As you can tell, this feature will show you which artists, albums, songs, and music videos you listen to/watched on repeat over the past 7 days. It’ll give you a good idea of which songs you’re leaning more towards. Sometimes, it’s obvious which songs you listen to on repeat. Maybe you can’t stop listening to “Nothing Could Be Good” by the BeeGees. Maybe, you just can’t stop listening to “Much Too Soon” by Hall& Oates. No matter the case, with the 7-day stats feature, YouTube music will tell you what songs you just can’t get out of your head. In order to access this feature, tap on your profile picture on the top right of the screen. In that menu, tap on the Your Channel button. On that page, you will see a list of carousels showing you your stats. The first carousel will show you the song you listened to on repeat. Next, you’ll see the artists and so on and so forth. If you don’t see this feature, make sure that your YouTube Music app is fully updated. If it’s updated and you don’t see the feature, then you’ll just want to wait a few days.

Aside from 7-day stats, YouTube music has more new stuff

Next, YouTube Music is doubling down on its lyrics. You can access the lyrics for a ton of songs by simply tapping on the Lyrics button in the pull-up panel. However, there are several cases where lyrics are not available. Because of this, YouTube Music made an official partnership with MusixMatch. This will increase the number of songs that have available lyrics. Lastly, Google says that it’s “optimized its song radio recommendations”, and it will include more artists. That’s good to hear. Having access to more artists, and not just the mainstream, is good for any music listener.
