If you are signed in, and have already opted to get updates from the Google Store, you will automatically get updates however. The page does give us some details on the new Pixel devices, like the new Tensor SoC that Google is going to be using here. Which is a new chipset for the Pixel 6, and Google says it will make these new Pixels the “fastest, smartest, and most secure Pixel phones yet”. We do know that there will be a TPU inside for AI as well as a new Titan M2 security chip. But the other aspects of the Tensor SoC are not available yet.
Both phones will come in three separate colors
The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro will come in three colors, but not the same three colors. We can see them all on the Pixel 6 page, however. There is the main black color, as well as a green and yellow color, and an orange model that we saw in the leaks. The Pixel 6 Pro is a bit more tame. it still has the black color, with a white option and a yellow option. The design on both phones this year is a bit different. As the bottom portion of the backside is a lighter color, and then the top part above the camera ribbon is another darker color. Or vice versa in some color SKUs like the black one. We don’t yet know the exact names for these colors. But “Quite Black” will likely still be around. And that’s about all that the Pixel 6 page on the Google Store page shows right now. Google confirmed some aspects of the new phones, but left a lot of question marks. For example, we know there will be a 6.4-inch FHD+ 90Hz display on the Pixel 6 and a 6.7-inch QHD+ 120Hz on the Pixel 6 Pro. Along with new camera sensors.
