The Xiaomi Band 7 to launch with a bigger display, AOD support, and more
In any case, some information regarding the Xiaomi Band 7 surfaced online. According to it, the device will feature a bigger display, AOD support, GPS, and more. This information comes from ‘Magical Unicorn’, which sounds funny, but his track record is not bad at all, at least when it comes to Xiaomi and Huami wearables. The codename of this device is ‘L66’, by the way, and there are two model numbers in play, ‘M2129B1’ and ‘’M2130B1’. The Xiaomi Band 7 will ship with a slightly larger display, with a resolution of 192 x 490. AOD support will be included, and a few watch faces will be available, at least at first. You can also expect a ton of workout modes too.
GPS could also be a part of the package
GPS support is also mentioned, and that would be a huge deal. Considering how focused on battery life Xiaomi’s smart bands usually are, that’s still up in the air. Also, the Mi Band 6 was rumored to have GPS, and that didn’t happen. The source also claims that the Band 7 will include a Smart Alarm feature, which will be able to wake you up gradually. The last piece of information mentioned a new Power Savings mode, to provide you with even better battery life. The Xiaomi Mi Band 6 launched in March last year, closer to the end of it. Xiaomi could be aiming to do the same with the Band 7 this year. Chances are it will launch in China first, as it did last year, and then make its way to other markets. As per usual, you can expect this thing to be quite affordable.
