Wallpaper Engine app is now available on Android as well
Now, do note that the Wallpaper Engine app is free to use, but in order to get everything it has to offer, you’ll need to use it with the PC counterpart. The Windows app is paid, though, so keep that in mind. It is worth noting that you can use the app on its own without a problem, though. If you’ve been using a PC version, you can import your creations to the Android version. Alternatively, you can use images, videos, and GIFs stored on your phone to create wallpapers, essentially. You can simply use those images, GIFs, or videos to set them as wallpapers, or you can create a custom wallpaper playlist that will automatically cycle through whatever you selected. So you can line up a number of GIFs and videos, for example.
It supports Android 12’s dynamic wallpaper-based theming and Material You
Those of you who are using Android 12 will be glad to know that this app does support dynamic wallpaper-based theming and Material You, so the integration will be excellent. The developer also wants to be clear about one thing, it does not track its users, nor does it collect data. It’s also worth noting that this app will automatically pause when power saving mode is enabled. The app also offers FPS and quality settings, and full support for dynamic audio visualizers, clocks, and other dynamic wallpaper elements. You can even let wallpapers move along with the motion of your device, thanks to the built-in gyroscope. So, as you can see, this application does have a lot to offer. If you’ve loved the PC version, you’ll likely enjoy the mobile version as well. If you’ve never used the PC version, well, there’s still a lot to like here.
