The Vivo X90 Pro+ specs leak, indicating truly powerful internals

The source claims that the Vivo X90 Pro+ will feature a 6.78-inch Samsung E6 AMOLED display. That display will offer QHD+ resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and will be curved. 1440Hz high-frequency eye protection dimming chip will also be included, it seems. This will be an LTPO panel, by the way. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is tipped to fuel this phone. The source also says that the top-end model won’t be on offer with a Dimensity chip, unlike the Vivo X90. Now we come to the fun part, the cameras. A 50-megapixel main camera will include Sony’s IMX989V sensor. That will be a 1-inch camera sensor, similar to the one in the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. We’re not sure what the ‘V’ stands for, it’s possible this sensor got altered a bit for Vivo. A 48-megapixel ultrawide camera (Sony’s IMX598 sensor) will also be included. The same goes for a 50-megapixel portrait camera (Sony IMX578 sensor), and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera (OmniVision OV64A sensor, 3.5x optical zoom, 10x hybrid zoom). The source also mentioned that the Vivo V2 ISP will also be included in the package.

LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage may also be included

Earlier reports suggested that LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 flash storage will also be included. That would also represent a major step forward, as flagships these days use LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash storage. The source also pointed out that the Vivo X90 and X90 Pro will utilize the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 SoC. That also looks like a truly compelling processor based on initial leaks. It seems like three Vivo X90 phones are coming, not two. We’re still not sure when exactly is Vivo planning to launch the Vivo X90 series, but the devices are coming soon.
