If you take a look at the gallery below the article, you’ll be able to see the Huawei Mate 50, Mate 50 Pro, and Mate 50 RS in renders. In addition to that, an image leaked that is showing the specs of all three of those devices, plus the Mate 50E. That image is shown below the article as well, in case you’d like to check it out.
The entire Huawei Mate 50 series has leaked, in both images & specs
Now, we can clearly see that the Mate 50, 50 Pro, and 50 RS will have curved displays. The Mate 50 will incorporate a centered display camera hole. The Mate 50 Pro will have a noticeable notch up top. That’s probably because of advanced facial scanning. The Mate 50 Pro will also include a more aggressive curve on the sides of its display. The Huawei Mate 50 RS will be very similar to the Huawei Mate 50 Pro. It has a different paint job, though, and we cannot tell if the notch will be there or not. That part of the image is quite dark due to the wallpaper. The image is also not exactly hi-res, so we cannot check by zooming in. Now, a lot of spec info was shared here. All four devices will include OLED displays by BOE, while the Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS will have noticeably larger displays than the other two phones. The Huawei Mate 50 and 50E will include 90Hz panels, while the other two devices will have 120Hz displays. Do note that all four phones will feature fullHD+ panels, though. XMAGE camera imaging brand will be a part of the entire series, but the camera setups will be different from one phone to the next. These specs are in Chinese, so it’s difficult to decipher everything.
The Mate 50 Pro & Mate 50 RS will have better camera setups
We can say that all four phones will have a 50-megapixel main camera, but the sensors will differ on the Mate 50 Pro and Mate 50 RS. The Mate 50 and Mate 50E will pack in a 4,400mAh battery, while the other two phones will include a 4,500mAh battery pack. All four phones will support 66W fast charging. You can expect to get 8GB of RAM on the Mate 50 and Mate 50E, while the remaining two devices will include 12GB of RAM. Different storage options will be available, and the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 is mentioned for all phones except for the Mate 50E. That device will seemingly include the Snapdragon 778G. The Huawei Mate 50 series is tipped to launch next month, but nothing has been confirmed just yet.
