Social media sites typically have multiple means of sharing their posts. You can share it within the platform or copy the URL to the post just to name a few. Some platforms give you the ability to share directly to other platforms. This makes things easier if you need to share your posts across different platforms on a regular basis.

Twitter for Android will let you share your posts with other platforms

In case you were wondering, this isn’t a new feature for Twitter. Well, to be clear, it’s only new to Android users. This feature already launched for iOS users some time back. Now, Android users can get in on the action. Twitter posted a tweet (via Engadget) about this new feature coming to Android. In the tweet, the company said Android users can not share their tweets directly as a Snapchat post or as an Instagram Story. After you post your tweet, all you have to do is tap on the share button. This will bring up the Android share menu. When you do this, you’ll see Instagram and Snapchat as options to share. You’ll post a clickable link on the platforms, so you know that it will lead them right to your tweet. Sharing to those two platforms was previously available on iOS, but Twitter is also letting both iOS and Android users share their tweets directly to LinkedIn. This will share a link to your Tweet as a post on the platform. If you want to use this feature, it should be available now. If you don’t see the option, make sure your Twitter app is fully updated. Find the app on Google Play Store and look for the Update button.
