The Pixel 6 series may get the March update in a couple of days
Fido, as most of you know, is a Canadian wireless provider. According to the company’s OS Upgrade Schedule, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will get the March update next Monday, on March 21. That’s only a couple of days away.
Now, this update is not only about improved security. In addition to that, this is also the March Feature Drop update, that Google releases every three months. It will include Android 12L, low-light photos for Snapchat, a nice new battery widget, and more. This update will also make it possible for your phone to use Live Caption in order to show a transcription of a current phone call in real-time. You’ll even be able to type your response back, and Google Assistant will read it to the person on the other end.
This update will also boost the At A Glance Widget
The At A Glance Widget also got a boost. It will start showing new info. For example, you’ll be able to see the battery levels of Bluetooth-connected devices, reminders to turn off alarms, and so on. Sharing YouTube videos through the Google Messages app will also become possible. On top of all that, some bug fixes are also expected, as some bugs are still present on Google’s flagships. If you’d like to know more about the March 2022 feature drop, check out the video below. Now, some fixes that are expected include a boost for the fingerprint scanner. That fingerprint scanner did get improved since the phones launched, but it’s still underwhelming. The random loss of Wi-Fi and Bluetooth is also expected to be fixed. Google will also optimize battery consumption.
