This information comes from Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster. The name of this device could possibly be the Vivo X Fold, at least if rumors are to be believed.
Possible specs of Vivo’s first foldable have surfaced
Its main display will measure 8 inches, and it will be a QHD+ display. It will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, and we’re guessing this will be an OLED display, even though that wasn’t mentioned. A display camera hole will be included on the right side of the display. The outer display will measure 6.5 inches, and will offer a fullHD+ resolution. This display will also offer a 120Hz refresh rate, and it’s expected to be an OLED panel. The right side of this display will be curved. That’s something we’ve seen on some other foldable smartphones. The Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will allegedly fuel the Vivo X Fold. Needless to say, that is Qualcomm’s most powerful processor at the moment. We still don’t have any information on RAM and storage setups, though.
80W wired, and 50W wireless charging is tipped
A 4,600mAh battery is also mentioned by the tipster, while he also says that 80W wired and 50W wireless charging will be supported. He did release some camera information as well. The device will include a 50-megapixel main camera, backed by a 48-megapixel ultrawide camera. A 12-megapixel telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom will also sit on the back, and so will an 8-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with 5x optical zoom. There is also a chance that Vivo will include in-display fingerprint scanners under both displays, ultrasonic ones. It would make more sense to use a side-facing one, but we’ll see. We still don’t know when exactly is this phone coming, but it’s expected to launch this year. Stay tuned for more information.
