Google itself has pasted images of the upcoming series all over the place at this point. Both in the real world and online. But none of them really seem to look as good as these new high-res images of the Pixel 6 posted by the device’s official photographer. Twitter user David Urbanke today recently shared images of the phone that show it off in great detail. And if you’re the type to get excited for upcoming products just by looking at quality photos of them, these should do the trick.
High-res images of the Pixel 6 are official shots from the ad campaign
It’s worth noting that these are official ad campaign shots for the two devices. So they look professional, but more importantly they provide a very high-detailed look at the device from both the front and back. In addition to showing off the phones in better detail, the images also provide a good look at Google’s new Material You theme capabilities. For some that have already seen the device in any of the other leaks or official shots, any more images might feel lackluster. Because there’s nothing new on display. There’s definitely nothing new here. And yet, seeing the phones in higher detail somehow makes things feel new. Even if only slightly.
These likely won’t be the last images to surface before the launch
Urbanke says this is the last post he’ll make about the new phones. But that doesn’t mean they’ll be the last images to pop up before the device releases next month. While these might be the last from Urbanke, more will likely pop up elsewhere. Whether official or leaked images of the phone in the wild. Google is expected to launch the phone on October 19 according to a few leaks. Which leaves about another month before consumers will get the phone in their hands. That’s also plenty of time for additional images to show up.
