What’s in this year’s 2020 Olympics grab bag?

Of course, the headlining inclusion in this year’s Olympics gift bag is the Olympic Games Edition Samsung Galaxy S21. The flagship 5G handset is being officially released exclusively by NTT DoCoMo in Japan. And that packs all of the same features and internals found in the top-tier original. But, this time around, with Olympics theming. Including a brilliant blue coloration Samsung calls “Phantom Blue” with silver Olympics branding on the rear panel. In addition to that flagship Samsung smartphone, the company also packed in a standard pair of Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro. And a second, white-colored carry and charge case for that, imbued with more commemorative theming. As with all of the other inclusions, that’s packed into specially-themed Olympics packaging. And, of course, all the items being handed are stuffed inside of a canvas-style 2020 Olympics tote. Last but not least, Samsung packed in what appears to be a fairly standard, albeit premium-looking, ball-point pen. And that’s been engraved to commemorate the event too, in addition to the Olympics box it arrives in.

This year’s Olympics are already underway

The 2020 Tokyo Olympics are taking place a bit late this year — it is, after all, 2021 now — due primarily to the pandemic. But the games are already underway, now officially in Day 0 following two days of team sports which kicked things off. Thankfully, for those who may have missed news around those first two days, there are plenty of ways to get and stay caught up. ♬ Trampoline – SHAED
