In the good old days, the OnePlus was known as the flagship killer, and many smartphone market experts talked about its potential to beat Apple and Samsung. However, the Chinese company is not far away from those days, focusing on producing mid-range smartphones with competitive prices. The newest device by the company is Nord N300 5G, which has now appeared in an FCC listing. As per the report, the Nord N300 is a successor to Nord 100 and Nord N200 5G. Also, it will exclusively launch in the North American market. The FCC confirms the phone supports 5G connectivity.

OnePlus Nord N300 is a mid-range phone with a competitive price

Since the Nord N300 5G doesn’t try to break the bank, you shouldn’t expect it to carry a powerful processor or a multiple-camera setup. But it can certainly challenge its peers in the mid-range segment. The MSRP of Nord N200 was around $240, and Nord N300 is unlikely to go for a huge price leap. There is still no information about the other specifications of the OnePlus Nord N300. Based on the unapproved rumors, the phone may feature an FHD+ resolution display, a Snapdragon chipset, and 4GB RAM with 64GB storage. Android 11 is also an option for the default OS. The release date is still unknown. Besides the Nord N300, OnePlus is developing some high-end smartphones to catch up with the competition. OnePlus 10T 5G, and OnePlus 10 are some upcoming devices from the brand. The company currently has OnePlus 10 Pro launched, and it said to have an unveiling event in July. OnePlus is one of the few Chinese manufacturers that have a chance to be present in the US market. So it wants to use this opportunity to the best. The ex-co-founder of the company, Carl Pei, has now founded a new brand called Nothing, and it could be a rival for OnePlus in the US market. However, the latest reports suggest that the Nothing phone (1) may  never arrive in the US.
