Which means the last GeForce NOW announcement for October. So today was really the most logical time to open pre-orders up to everybody. As noted in last week’s announcement, pre-orders for the new membership tier cost $99.99. And that’s because right now, you can only sign up for six months at a time. As there’s not currently a month to month option.

Members who pre-order GeForce NOW 3080 tiers won’t be charged right away

If you’re a little apprehensive about spending $100 right this moment for the GeForce NOW 3080 tier, perhaps there is a silver lining. NVIDIA says that anyone who pre-orders this new tier for GeForce NOW won’t be charged immediately. Pre-orders will only be charged once the service is actually available. That means you could pre-order today and not actually pay for the subscription until sometime in November. As that’s when the service is planned to launch for North America. For those in Europe, the pre-orders will turn into an active membership in December.

GeForce NOW also gets five new games added today

In addition to the 3080 membership tier opening up to all, NVIDIA has added five new games to the service today. This includes Marvel’s Guardians Of The Galaxy. The recently released title from Square Enix and Eidos-Montreal that follows the adventures of Star-Lord, Gamora, Drax, Rocket, and Groot. Alan Wake was also added to the service today. In addition to Hide And Shriek, Paradise Killer, and Riders Republic – the new open-world sports MMO from Ubisoft. While there’s no special rewards or goodies for pre-ordering the new 3080 membership, availability is going to be limited to start. So you might want to get in and reserve a spot as early as you can if you’re interested in it.
