The Motorola Edge 40 Pro design shown from all sides prior to launch
That being said, the phone’s design has been revealed in its entirety by @OnLeaks who partnered up with MySmartPrice. The phone’s CAD-based renders have been shared, giving us a look at the phone from all sides. Not only can you see a number of renders in the gallery below the article, but a video has been included as well. The embedded YouTube video shows the phone from all angles. This is not the first time we’re seeing this device, but chances are this is the most accurate look yet. @OnLeaks is rarely wrong when it comes to such images, so… this is probably the phone’s final design. The Motorola Edge 40 Pro will first launch in China, this month, while its global launch will probably follow in Q1 2023. The device will feature a curved display with thin bezels, as you can see. A centered display camera hole will also be included, while all of its physical buttons will sit on the right-hand side. Three cameras will sit on the back of the phone, inside a camera island. Those cameras will sit in the top-left corner of the phone’s back. Motorola brandings are clearly visible on the back.
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 will be included, along with a 144Hz display
The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC will fuel the phone, while a 6.67-inch fullHD+ OLED display is expected on the front. That will likely be a fullHD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate. The device is said to come in several RAM and storage combos. 8GB, 12GB, and 16GB RAM models are said to be available, at least in China. Those will come with 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of storage, respectively. A 50-megapixel main camera will be backed by a 50-megapixel ultrawide unit, it would seem. A 12-megapixel telephoto camera is also said to be included on the back.
