Take a look at Royole’s third-gen foldable smartphone, as it leaked from all angles
The design of this device got shared by Evan Blass, a well-known tipster. He shared renders of the device, showing it from all angles, basically. Now, he said that this is the “Royole F3”, though that could be short for “Royole FlexPai 3”. On the flip side, Royole could just go with the “F3” branding, we’ll see. In any case, you’ll see a really pronounced hinge on the back of this thing, and bezels that are considerably thicker than the ones on the Galaxy Z Fold 3, for example. This device seems to be folding outwards, like its predecessor. You’ll see a space for the rear camera setup to dock when the device is folded outwards. That way, the main display ends up being exposed on the back.
It doesn’t have two displays, but it does have a pop-up camera
It is possible it folds both ways, but that’s not likely. There is no secondary display here, only the main, foldable panel. You’ll also notice that the device has a pop-up selfie camera, like the one the OnePlus 7 Pro had, for example. A Type-C USB port is placed at the bottom of the device, along with the main speaker. The phone’s cameras do protrude on the back, and there is a capacitive fingerprint scanner placed on the side. The Royole FlexPai 2 got announced at the end of September last year. We were expecting the FlexPai 3 aka F3 to land in September or October, but that didn’t happen. The company is likely planning to launch it in November or December. We cannot confirm this just yet, though.
