The Roomba Combo j7+ is basically the same as the regular Roomba j7+, but it now has a mop built-in. That mop can lift up over the vacuum, so that it can clean in carpeted rooms without getting the carpet all wet. That’s really why iRobot has not released a vacuum and mop combo before. Like the regular Roomba j7+, this does have the same auto-empty dock. So it will automatically empty the dustbin when it docks. It will not refill the water reservoir nor clean the mop. So keep that in mind here. But it can hold about eight weeks of dirt and debris in the dock. The j7+ also has the camera on the front. So it is able to identify objects that might be in the way. Like toys, cables, shoes and even pet waste. In fact, iRobot is so sure that it will not run over pet poop, that it has guaranteed it. So if it does happen, they will replace it free of charge. Like its other robot vacuums, the Roomba Combo j7+ does also come with its 4-stage cleaning system. It uses two rubber brushes on the bottom that allow it to get closer to the ground, and not get tangled up with hair. And it works really well in practice too. It still has the front spinning brush to help loosen the dirt and dust too.
