The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro specifications reveal a premium watch

The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro comes in a single case size, its case has a 45mm diameter. So, it’s larger than the Galaxy Watch 5 units which are available in 40mm and 44mm iterations. That’s not the only difference, though. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro utilizes a titanium body, and also a larger battery. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro features a round, 1.4-inch Super AMOLED display. That panel has a resolution of 450 x 450. That is a sapphire glass display, by the way, so it has very good protection.

It has a large battery, and a runtime of up to 80 hours

This smartwatch includes a 590mAh battery on the inside, and Samsung promises a runtime of up to 80 hours. It supports wireless charging, and it charges up to 10W with a compatible charging dock. The Samsung Exynos W920 dual-core SoC fuels the Galaxy Watch 5 Pro, while the company also included 16GB of internal storage. You’ll also find 1.5GB of RAM inside of this watch. The LTE variant of the device does have an eSIM included. A GPS receiver is also on board, as is an NFC chip for payments. The watch is compatible with Android 8.0+, and it ships with Wear OS Powered by Samsung (Wear OS 3.5). On top of this OS, you’ll find One UI Watch 4.5.

There are a ton of sensors included here

The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro includes a lot of sensors. The Samsung BioActive Sensor (Optical Heart Rate + Electrical Heart Signal + Bioelectrical Impedance Analysis) is included, as is a Temperature Sensor. All the other sensors you’d expect on a smartwatch are also a part of the package. This smartwatch is both 5ATM and IP68 certified, in order to having MIL-STD-810H certification. The device comes with a D-Buckle Sport Band, and is available in Black Titanium and Gray Titanium colors. The Galaxy Watch 5 Pro measures 45.4 x 45.4 x 10.5mm, while it weighs 46.5 grams. So it’s considerably heavier than non-pro variants of the Galaxy Watch 5.
