Now, Fill Color isn’t the only new feature added with the recent update to the Samsung PENUP art app, but it is arguably the most important. The tool, as its name suggests, is one that’s been found in nearly every art-focused app ever developed. Summarily, it lets users quickly fill in spaces in their art — between fully-enclosed lines — with color. And, up until now, it’s been missing in Samsung’s app. That is unless users took their art into “Coloring” mode. Now, it’s available in the main drawing mode of the app.
Aside from Fill Color, what else is new in Samsung PENUP?
Setting that new feature aside, PENUP should also be better than ever for Samsung devices that don’t include an S-Pen too. Stacking atop a better experience filling in colors, following the update, the app offers “improved Live Drawing usability.” That should equate to better drawings all-around. Whether users are drawing with a stylus pen or with their fingers. And it should allow more users to have a better experience. Regardless of whether they’re on a smartphone or a tablet. Regardless of whether their phone– as this is a company-specific app, rather than a device-specific one — supports the S-Pen. Additionally, users looking for Live Drawings or art to color will have an easier time finding that. The update adds a new search feature specifically for those segments of the app. Meaning that users can more readily find example clips of art being drawn via Live Drawings. Or find a piece of art to make their own with custom colors. Overall, changes like these will go a long way toward placing Samsung PENUP among the best art apps available. The update is rolling out now for those that want to check it out.
