As of this writing, the Galaxy A32 5G is receiving the Android 13 update in Europe, Latin America, and South Korea. The new firmware version for the phone in the former two regions is A326BXXU4CVK5, while that in Samsung’s homeland is A326KKSU3CVK5. The handset was also launched in the US and is available in carrier-locked and unlocked variants. Samsung should update the US versions of the Galaxy A32 5G to Android 13 over the next few days. The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update contains plenty of goodies for Galaxy users. Samsung has tweaked the UI for a refreshed look and improved navigation experience. You will notice bolder app icons and smoother system animations. There are new customization options too, including an improved Color Palette that lets you extract the color scheme of your wallpaper and apply it to the system UI elements. Additionally, we have several new features for Bixby Routines, Gallery, camera, and other apps and services. Samsung has also improved the accessibility, privacy, and security of Galaxy devices with One UI 5.0.
The Galaxy A32 5G gets Android 13 with the November security patch
While the Galaxy A32 LTE picked up the October security patch with its big Android update, Samsung is seeding the November SMR (Security Maintenance Release) to the Galaxy A32 5G. It still isn’t the latest, though. The December SMR has already been rolled out to a few Galaxy devices. Neither Galaxy A32 model is likely to receive this month’s security patch. They are only eligible for quarterly security updates, so Samsung will skip a few releases for those. Nonetheless, if you’re using a Galaxy A32 LTE or Galaxy A32 5G and are waiting for the Android 13 update, it should just be a matter of time before you get it. You should be notified about the OTA (over the air) release once available for your phone. You can also check for updates from the Settings app. Unfortunately, this could be the last major Android OS update for the Galaxy A32 duo. They arrived running Android 11 out of the box and received updates to Android 12 and Android 13.
