Google CEO showed off the Pixel Watch during an interview, indirectly
This resulted in a ton of pictures/screenshots, which give us a closer look at Google’s upcoming wearable. We already knew what it will look like, and some other details, but these are real-life images, with the final product, it would seem. Sundar Pichai opted for a gold Pixel Watch, with a so-called ‘Lemongrass’ band. This variant can already be found in the Google Store, by the way. It also seems like Pichai opted to use the always-on display function. This entire interview lasted for about 50 minutes, so you can imagine how many shots of the Pixel Watch we’ve seen. The watch doesn’t seem to be too thin, though its watch face is not too large, it actually looks rather compact on the wrist. The watch will be quite curved, and it will rock a single button on the side. That definitely allows the watch to keep that minimalistic aesthetic.
It will launch on October 6
The Google Pixel Watch will become official on October 6. Google recently announced its October press event. During that event, the company’s Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro devices will be announced, in addition to its watch. Google showed off all three products thus far, several times, and the latest showcase comes from a promo video. There are still a lot of details that the company needs to share, though, of course. We’ll get far more information on October 6, which will essentially be a proper launch of all these products. Do note that the company’s first foldable smartphone won’t launch next month, though. It’s allegedly coming in March 2023.
