The Pixel 6 series specs get shared by a tipster, including Google Tensor configuration
According to the tipster, the Pixel 6 will feature a 6.4-inch OLED display. That will almost certainly be a fullHD+ panel, but the tipster didn’t mention that. What he did mention is that this will be a 90Hz panel. The Pixel 6 will offer 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage, says the source, along with a 4,614mAh battery. Android 12 will come out of the box, as well, as it will on the ‘Pro’ model. The Pixel 6 is said to utilize two cameras on the back, and one on the front. A 50-megapixel main camera (Samsung’s ISOCELL GN1 sensor), and a 12-megapixel ultrawide one (Sony’s IMX386 sensor) will sit on the back. An 8-megapixel selfie camera will also be included. The Pixel 6 Pro, on the other hand, is said to feature a 6.71-inch curved OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The tipster didn’t mention it, but this display will offer QHD+ resolution. The source claims that the device will offer 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, though more than one variant will likely be available. That actually goes for the regular Pixel 6 as well.
The Pixel 6 Pro is said to include three cameras on the back
The Pixel 6 Pro will also utilize 50-megapixel and 12-megapixel cameras, like the Pixel 6, those same sensors. In addition to that, however, it will also include a 48-megapixel camera (4x optical zoom) on the back. The selfie camera will be the same as on the Pixel 6. Now, the tipster also touched upon the Google Tensor SoC. He claims that the chip will utilize two X1 cores clocked at 2.8GHz. In addition to that, it will feature two A78 cores clocked at 2.25GHz, and four A55 cores clocked at 1.8GHz. The Mali G78 GPU will also be included. That is basically all the information that got shared this time around. If you’d like to know more about the two phones, check out our Pixel 6 and 6 Pro previews.
