Announced last year, GM’s Ultra Cruise will be the first advanced driver assist system (ADAS) to use Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon Ride Platform. This includes the Snapdragon SA8540P SoC (system-on-a-chip) and SA9000P artificial intelligence accelerator. According to the carmaker, these Qualcomm chips consolidate modules for driver monitoring, mapping, and video processing into one box. This allows for improved system latency. The chips will deliver “low-latency control functions on 16-core CPUs and high-performance AI compute of more than 300 Tera Operations Per Second for the camera, radar, and lidar processing”....
However, Huffman said that the platform would not ban subreddits or communities that “challenge the consensus views on the pandemic.” Reddit has locked the CEO’s thread on r/announcements. This means that Reddit users cannot reply to the thread. “Reddit is a place for open and authentic discussion and debate. This includes conversations that question or disagree with popular consensus. As of this writing, the Galaxy A32 5G is receiving the Android 13 update in Europe, Latin America, and South Korea. The new firmware version for the phone in the former two regions is A326BXXU4CVK5, while that in Samsung’s homeland is A326KKSU3CVK5. The image you see below appears within the Bixby support page (via 91Mobiles), showing the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra and its front-camera notch prominently. Samsung is reportedly using the notch only for the Ultra variant of the tablet lineup. The notch is justified given that the Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra would feature dual front cameras, but more on that later. The image also reveals a case or keyboard of some type, likely sold separately....

Samsung didn’t make all of those 300 million phones itself though. It outsourced the production of some 60 million-odd units to Chinese firms such as Wingtech and Huaquin. The company does so for its budget devices. The rest 240 million units were produced in-house. While 300 million is a big number, Samsung’s 2021 flagship series — Galaxy S21 — didn’t do particularly well in the market. The Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra sold a combined 20 million-odd units....

Spotted by Techgoing, the Galaxy A54 5G appeared on the 3C website with the model number SM-A5460. That’s the Chinese version of the phone. The European version is identified by SM-A546B while the US version should bear the model number SM-A546U. The 3C listing revealed that the upcoming premium mid-ranger from Samsung will support 25W fast wired charging, unchanged from the Galaxy A53 5G launched this year. While no other information was revealed, the very sighting of the Galaxy A54 5G on the 3C website hints at its nearing launch....
