The Nord Watch will be the second OnePlus smartwatch but the first model in the Nord series. While it may be an affordable offering from the Oppo sub-brand, the company is offering a decent set of specs. We are getting a 1.78-inch (45.2mm) AMOLED display with a 60Hz refresh rate. The screen boasts a resolution of 368×448 pixels and a peak brightness of 500 nits. Rumors suggest a pixel density of 326 PPI and 2.5D curved glass on top. OnePlus has now confirmed that the Nord Watch will offer 105 sports and activity modes. We can see activity modes like outdoor and indoor running, outdoor and indoor walking, outdoor and indoor cycling, hiking, climbing, elliptical machine training, yoga, cricket, and more. Additionally, OnePlus is teasing health features like heart rate monitoring and women’s health tracking. Rumors have claimed features like SPO2, sleep monitoring, and stress tracking as well. OnePlus will detail Nord Watch’s health features tomorrow, September 28.
The OnePlus Nord Watch may offer a healthy battery life
Battery life could be one of the biggest advantages of the Nord Watch over its rivals. While OnePlus has yet to officially confirm the battery specs, rumors are that the watch will offer up to ten days of battery life on normal usage. Of course, the battery life will vary according to your pattern. The more extensively you use the wearable, the lesser battery life you’ll get. But it’s still a healthy figure. On standby mode, the watch is rumored to run for up to 30 days on a single charge. OnePlus has yet to reveal the precise launch date for the Nord Watch. But tomorrow is the last day of it revealing the watch’s specs bit by bit. So maybe we will get to learn its availability details too, we’ll have to wait and see. Whenever it goes for sale, the device will reportedly come in black and blue color options. We will let you know if it comes to the US.
