Apart from receiving the certification, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 has surfaced on the Camera FV5 website, revealing key camera specifications. The OnePlus Nord CE 2 is expected to be released on February 11. There isn’t any official confirmation of the same. However, the certification hints that we might be inching closer to the official launch of the device. As per the TUV certification, the device is listed to come with a 4,450mAh battery. It will be marked as a 4,500mAh cell. OnePlus will also include 65W fast charging support with the OnePlus Nord CE 2 device out of the box. Talking about the camera, being a successor in the Nord lineup, you shouldn’t expect an out-of-the-world camera experience from this device.
OnePlus Nord CE 2 will sport a 64MP primary camera
As per the Camera FV5 website, the OnePlus Nord CE 2 will come with a triple-camera setup on the back. There will be a 64MP primary camera. Users will get a 16MP output from this 64MP camera due to the pixel-binning technology. This sensor will have an f/1.7 aperture and 26.2mm focal length. The 64MP primary camera is likely to be an OmniVision sensor. Besides, the other two cameras on the device will be ultrawide and macro cameras, respectively. For selfies, the Nord CE 2 will sport a 16MP shooter. Again, due to pixel-binning, it will produce a 4MP output from this selfie camera. Leaks say that the front camera will have an f/2.4 aperture. It will come with electronic image stabilization (EIS). Additional leaks reveal that the phone will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 900 SoC. So, you can expect decent performance from the device. It will rock a 6.4-inch AMOLED display. The Nord CE 2 will come with a 90Hz refresh rate panel with Full HD+ resolution. The punch-hole cutout at the top-left corner of the display will house the selfie camera. Furthermore, it will also come with an in-display fingerprint scanner.
