The phone’s specs surfaced on Weibo, courtesy of a tipster. These specs put the device one level below the OnePlus 9 series, but they still make them really powerful.

The OnePlus 9 RT tip promises powerful specs will be included

The OnePlus 9 RT is said to feature a 6.55-inch fullHD+ (2400 x 1080) display from Samsung. It will be a Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The Snapdragon 870 is said to fuel the phone, while you can expect to get LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage in the package. OnePlus will release three variants of the phone. One model will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, and the other with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. The most powerful variant will include 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. A 4,500mAh battery will be included, and the phone will support 65W fast wired charging. Wireless charging won’t be included in the package, and the same goes for reverse wireless charging. A 50-megapixel main camera (Sony’s IMX766) is tipped to be included on the back, and offers OIS support. A 16-megapixel (Sony IMX481) ultrawide camera is also tipped, and the same goes for a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor. A 16-megapixel selfie camera (Sony’s IMX471 sensor) will be included on the front. The tipster did mention that Gorilla Glass will protect the phone’s display, but we don’t know what version.

Its frame will be made out of metal, and stereo speakers will be included

Stereo speakers will also be included in the package, and the phone will feature a frame made out of metal. Dolby panoramic sound is expected, and an NFC chip as well. The OnePlus 9 RT is said to be released in China and India only. The expected price for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant is CNY2,999 ($462). The 8GB RAM model with 256GB of storage will allegedly cost CNY3,299 ($509). The most powerful variant with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage will set you back CNY3,599 ($555).
