The One UI has come a long way since then and gained a lot of features. At present, it is one of the best custom UIs available. Samsung started pushing the One UI 4 beta update based on Android 12 back in mid-September for its Galaxy S21 series devices. One UI 4 Android 12 beta update went live for limited markets. Later, it was widely available in all the countries that were selected for the beta program. Recently, the company released One UI 4 Beta 2 update for the Galaxy S21 series. It is expected to release the One UI 4 Beta 3 update, sometime this week. While we are at it, the company has shared some information regarding the release of the One UI 4 stable version. As per a community moderator, the update will be live in December.
Chances are users in US and South Korea may get One UI 4 stable update together
Yes. According to TizenHelp, responding to a user query regarding the availability of One UI 4 Android 12 stable update, a Galaxy S community moderator said the final version is likely to be available in the last month of this year. The moderator further said that Samsung is working on the Android 12-based One UI 4 stable version for the Galaxy S21 series devices. This includes the Galaxy S21, S21+, and Galaxy S21 Ultra. However, do note that this answer was for the KT operators in South Korea. So, the SKT, LG U+ & Unlocked variants are also eligible to receive the update in December. Here’s what the statement reads, “Currently, Galaxy S21 is also developing the Android 12 (One UI 4) version and the situation is changing, so it is difficult to give a clear answer. We are actively collaborating with KT operators, and it is likely to be possible by December at the latest.” Another important thing to remember is that Samsung released the One UI 3.0 stable update for Galaxy S20 users in the US along with South Korea. So, there are chances that US users will get the same treatment this year as well. One UI 4.0 Beta still has multiple bugs and it will be fixed with the next beta update. We hope everything is properly baked into the One UI 4 update before the stable rollout begins.
