The FCC has certified the Nokia Style+ with the model number TA-1448. The previous sightings on the CQC and WiFi Alliance websites also contained the same model number. The latter listing confirmed the “Style+” branding as well. The new listing reveals that the upcoming smartphone will pack a 5,000mAh battery. It also tells us the model number (AD-020US) of the charging adapter. While the charging speed isn’t mentioned, earlier certifications showed it to support 20W charging. The FCC documents additionally show that the Nokia Style+ will feature an LCD screen. The phone will sport a triple camera setup at the back consisting of a 48-megapixel primary shooter, a 5-megapixel ultrawide lens, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. There’s a 16-megapixel camera on the front for selfies and video calls. This phone will support dual-band 2.4GHz and 5GHz Wi-Fi and 5G cellular connectivity. It will run Android 12 out of the box. This certification listing contains a live image of the phone taken from the front. However, it doesn’t completely show the device. We can see sizeable bezels on the left and right but it’s unclear whether the phone will sport a punch-hole selfie camera or a notch. As for the rear design, the documents contain a render showing the positioning of the camera sensors and the LED flash. The phone is 166.1mm long and 76.4mm wide.
Nokia Style+ launch date
HMD Global, the Finnish company that makes Nokia-branded smartphones, has yet to reveal when it plans to launch the Nokia Style+. Considering the recent developments, and that the phone will ship with Android 12, we expect it to arrive soon. The company also has the Nokia G11 Plus in the works. It recently popped up on Geekbench, revealing a few key details. The device appears to feature the UniSoC T606 processor and will come in a 4GB RAM variant. This phone will also run Android 12 from day one. We wouldn’t be surprised if the Nokia Style+ and Nokia G11 Plus arrive together in a few months. Ahead of that, we expect to hear more about the devices as HMD Global prepares for the launch. We will keep you posted.
