New ‘Earth Blue’ Sony LinkBuds S are made from recycled water bottle materials
In addition to the launch of this model, Sony also announced the addition of multi-port connection support for LinkBuds and LinkBuds S earbuds. In regards to the ‘Earth Blue’ earbuds, well, they sure do look interesting. They have sort of a creamy blue color, with faded white markings all over. In fact, this gives out a marble effect, which is quite interesting. These earbuds will definitely stand out amongst their siblings. Speaking of which, the Sony LinkBuds S come in Black, White, Earth Blue, and Desert Sand color options. So, the ‘Earth Blue’ model is actually the fifth in the row. These earbuds weigh 4.8 grams, and they offer up to six hours of listening on a single charge. That goes for when the ANC is on, actually, so it’s really good. You can squeeze out more if you disable ANC. The charging case offers an extra 20 hours of listening time (with ANC). They do feature ANC, as already mentioned, and the same goes for transparency mode.
They come with a 5mm driver unit, and a V1 processor
The Sony LinkBuds S earbuds come with a 5mm driver unit, and a V1 processor. The earbuds offer “rich low-frequency bass sound”, and they do support Sony’s high-fidelity LDAC Bluetooth codec. Do note that these earbuds do not offer wireless charging, though. You can charge them via the Type-C port that is included. They are IPX4 certified, and offer 360 Reality Audio, Fast Pair, and Bluetooth 5.2.
