Action Launcher update fixes the animation issue introduced by Google
So, what’s the deal here? Well, if you’ve been using a third-party launcher in the last year, year, and a half, chances are you’ve noticed that the home animation is not the smoothest. This is actually Google’s fault. Ever since the company moved Android to gestures, it basically messed up custom launchers. It has been a real headache for developers to deal with that. Well, Action Launcher just made it happen. Do note that this is not the only change that this update brings, of course. We’re seeing some new features, and quite a few improvements thrown into the mix as well. On top of that, some fixes have been issued. So, what’s new? Well, you can now customize transition animations via Settings -> Animations & appearance -> Transition home animation. On top of that, the developer added adaptive icon pack support.
The 2022 Supporter Pack additions are also here
You’ll also find the 2022 Supporter Pack inside the app now, and it includes 9 new wallpapers. Brave Search support has been added, while the appearance of bundled calendar icons has been updated, and so on. The developer has decided to polish up the settings a bit, while the Widget stack now shows the most recently displayed widget when reloaded. The navigation bar tint has been removed from the All Apps drawer. The search bar height has been increased while the visual glitch when pressing HOme to exit settings has been fixed. These are only some changes this update brings. You can check out the full changelog by clicking here.
