The Motorola Razr 2022 is set to come with larger displays
The analyst even detailed the changes, to a degree. He said that the main display on the device will measure 6.7 inches. In comparison, the Motorola Razr 5G included a 6.2-inch foldable panel. The cover display on the new phone will measure 3 inches, approximately. The cover display on the Motorola Razr 5G measures 2.7 inches. That won’t be that major of a change, but there you have it. The main display, on the other hand, will increase quite considerably. The difference between a 6.2-inch and a 6.7-inch panel is definitely noticeable. As some of you already know, the phone itself will look considerably different. Motorola’s upcoming Razr 2022 handset, or whatever the company ends up calling it, leaked out recently. Real-life images surfaced, and showed us a phone that will resemble the Galaxy Z Flip 3 more than the Motorola Razr and Razr 5G.
The device won’t include that large ‘chin’ at the bottom
That large ‘chin’ at the bottom will be gone, and the entire design will be more streamlined. The phone will also include two cameras on the back, instead of one. Not everyone will like that change, as the device doesn’t really resemble the original Razr at all. Many would say that this change makes the phone look more generic. Well, that may be true, but there’s obviously a reason for this. Based on the images that leaked, the device will include a display camera hole on the main display. Therefore, the notch that you’re used to from the first two phones will no longer be there. The phone will launch in Quartz Black and Tranquil Blue color options. It is expected to arrive to China first, in late July or early August. The global launch will follow soon after that.
