When Motorola E20 and E40 came into the scene, Motorola E30 was the missing piece of the puzzle. Now, Motorola is fixing that by debuting the Motorola E30 in Europe. The device has been launched in two colors, i.e. Blue and Gray. According to a new report by GSM Arena, the Motorola E30 quietly appeared on the Slovakian website of the company, and also on the supermarket chain Aldi in Belgium. Interestingly, the Motorola E30 comes with almost the same specs as that of the Motorola E40. However, there are a few obvious limitations on E30 done to distinguish from the E40. Motorola E30 is an Android 11 Go Edition phone, which is similar to E20. The Motorola E30 comes with 2GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of onboard storage. Talking about similarities with the E40, the E30 is powered by the same Unisoc T700 chipset as the E40. The display on the Motorola E30 is a 6.5-inch IPS LCD screen with 720p+ resolution with an aspect ratio of 20:9.
The Motorola E30’s display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate
Just like Motorola E40, the display on the E30 is also a 90Hz panel. So, you will enjoy scrolling and browsing the internet on this smooth screen. Coming to the cameras on the phone, there is a primary 48MP lens with an f/1.8 aperture. This is apparently the best lens on an Android Go edition phone. It can record 1080p videos @30fps. There are two more cameras, a 2MP macro and a 2MP depth camera completing the triple-camera setup. The selfie camera on the front is an 8MP lens, housed inside a punch-hole. Under the hood, the Motorola E30 comes with a huge 5,000mAh battery. Motorola claims it could provide “more than 40 hours” of battery life. It doesn’t come with a fast charge, and it is maxed out at 10W. Other features include a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm jack, IP52 water-repellent design, and it weighs 198g. There is a microSD card slot to expand the storage. Connectivity-wise, it features Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi b/g (2.4 GHz), 4G, but lacks NFC. The Motorola E30 will be available in two colors, i.e. Blue and Grey. No price has been mentioned on the Slovakian website about the device, but Aldi in Belgium has listed the Motorola E30 at €100 in Europe.
