Since 2020, Motorola has been developing Edge devices, and they’ve been a main series of phones for the company. We’ve gotten devices like the Moto Edge+ earlier this year, and we’ve been waiting for the next ones to hit the market.
Motorola could unveil its new Edge phones on Sept 8th
Motorola just posted a short and sweet video to Twitter that doesn’t leave much to the imagination. It shows a sunrise background with three rectangles slowly dropping into the frame. At that point, Sept 8th appears on the screen. Last, but not least, the tweet comes with the text “Find yourself closer to the edge… September 8”. The three rectangles that dropped into view represent the new Edge phones that Motorola will unveil. None of them seem to have the curved edges that characterized the first Motorola Edge phone. Instead, we see three slender full-screen devices. We don’t see the cutout for the selfie cameras, but it’s unlikely that Motorola will use under-display cameras for these phones.

This gives us a look at the profile of the phone (that’s assuming that it’s meant to represent the phone’s actual body). If this is meant to represent the actual phone, then this will be quite a thin device. We’ll need to wait for the official announcement to know for sure. If you’re looking forward to these phones, then there’s not much more time to wait. There are just under three weeks until Motorola will reveal these devices. At this point, we don’t know anything about the prices or availability, so you’ll need to stay tuned for that information.
