The device comes with a plastic backplate, while it has a really noticeable “chin” below the display. Other than that bottom bezel, its bezels in general are not that thick. A display camera hole is also included here, and it’s centered. There are three cameras included on the back, along with a capacitive fingerprint scanner. You’ll also notice Motorola’s logo on that fingerprint scanner, and a rather interesting pattern on the back of the device.
The Moto G Power 2022 has a large display with 90Hz refresh rate
The device features a 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720) MaxVision display with a 20:9 aspect ratio and 90Hz refresh rate. MediaTek’s Helio G37 SoC fuels this smartphone, while Motorola also included 4GB of RAM. You’ll find 64GB of storage inside this phone, but you can expand that via a microSD card up to 512GB. Android 11 comes pre-installed on the phone, while a 3.5mm headphone jack is also included. There is a single speaker here, a bottom-firing one with smart PA. A 5,000mAh battery is included here, and it supports 10W charging. That charging is not particularly fast, but at least it’s something. It’s also worth noting the Moto G Power 2022 has IP52 certification for water resistance.
There are three cameras on the back, lead by a 50-megapixel unit
A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture) is backed by a 2-megapixel depth unit, and a 2-megapixel macro camera (f/2.4 aperture). A single 8-megapixel camera (f/2.0) sits on the front. This handset does have Bluetooth 5 and Dual 4G VoLTE support. It measures 167.24 x 76.54 x 9.36mm, while it weighs 203 grams. The Moto G Power 2022 is priced at $199.99 and will be available through Republic Wireless and Metro by T-Mobile in the coming months. It is also coming to Verizon, Boost Mobile, Xfinity Mobile, AT&T, Cricket, UScellular, and Google Fi.
