Motorola has decided to move the display camera hole to the middle now, while the camera setup on the back looks different, and better now. It looks way sleeker, nicer to the eyes.
The Moto G Power 2022 images and specifications have surfaced
The phone will be made out of metal and plastic, it seems, just like its predecessor. We cannot confirm this, but its frame is likely made out of metal, while the backplate sure looks like it’s plastic. The “chin” on this phone will be… well, quite considerable. In fact, it looks thicker than the bottom bezel on the Moto G Power 2020, at least based on these renders. A rear-facing fingerprint scanner will once again be included, it sits under the Motorola logo on the back. That is a great call by Motorola, capacitive fingerprint scanners are still the most convenient, and fastest at the same time.
It will include three cameras on the back
The device will include three cameras on the back, and they will be vertically aligned in the top-left corner. The backplate on this phone seems to have some pattern on it. We’re not sure if you can physically feel it, or if it’s just an illusion. All the physical buttons are located on the right-hand side of this phone. The SIM card tray will be accessible from the left. The device is expected to be IP52 certified, which should protect it against water splashes and dust. Now, in regards to its specifications. The device will be fueled by a budget Snapdragon SoC, though we don’t know which one. In any case, it won’t use the rumored MediaTek Helio G35 processor. You’ll get 4GB of RAM here, with 64GB of internal storage, which will be expandable. Android 11 will come pre-installed, while the phone will feature a 6.5-inch Max Vision HD+ TFT display. It will also offer a 90Hz refresh rate.
A 50-megapixel main camera will sit on the back
A 50-megapixel main camera (f/1.8 aperture) will be backed by a 2-megapixel depth sensor (f/2.4). We’re not sure what the third camera on the back will be. An 8-megapixel selfie camera (f/2.0 aperture) will also be included. The phone will include a 5,000mAh battery, and support 10W charging. It will measure 167.24 x 76.54 x 9.36mm, allegedly. The Moto G Power 2020 launched back in February. We’re not sure when this model will arrive, though, stay tuned.
