Given the challenge consumers have had trying to buy a regular Xbox Series X console, this is par for the course. Especially since it’s a limited edition unit with a custom themed design. LE consoles of Xbox past saw similar fates. Though they have typically ended up being easier to get after they’ve been released for a longer period of time. That doesn’t mean the same thing will happen here though. Not only is the Series X one of the harder consoles to acquire in Xbox’s history, the Halo Infinite LE model is commemorating Halo’s 20th anniversary. So it’s a pretty big deal with fans. Naturally, it comes with a Halo Infinite-themed Xbox Wireless Controller too. And it powers on with custom Halo-themed sounds. Just like past Halo themed Xboxes. The console retails for $549.99, and is available from Microsoft and select retailers when stock is available.
The Halo Xbox Series X is joined by a range of other LE accessories
In addition to the new Halo Infinite LE Xbox Series X, Microsoft is also launching a themed Elite Series 2 controller, and a themed Razer Kaira Pro wireless headset. In addition there’s also a new Halo Infinite-themed Seagate Game Drive For Xbox. All three accessories evoke a design that screams Master Chief. Neither Razer nor Microsoft have announced pricing for the Halo Infinite Kaira Pro yet. But you can sign up to be notified when it’s available to buy through the button below. The Xbox Elite Series 2 Halo Infinite Limited Edition will retail for $199, and is also available for pre-order starting today. And it’s actually in stock for the moment. Meanwhile the Seagate Game Drive Halo Infinite Limited Edition will retail for $99.99 for the 2TB, or $159.99 for the 5TB. Keep in mind these are external drives. And not the smaller expansion drive you can plug into the back of the Series X. These will release in October, but are not yet available for pre-order.
