The Huawei P50 Pocket & P50 Pro will launch internationally later this month
Well, now Huawei reached out to share more information about their availability. The company told us that both smartphones will make their way to more markets later this month. To be more specific, Huawei said “will launch internationally” later this month. The company didn’t specifically say the Huawei P50 Pocket and P50 Pro, but it said “the much-anticipated P Series”, which clearly means those two smartphones. That’s the only thing it can mean, basically. The Huawei P50 Pocket and P50 Pro launch in Malaysia basically represents a global launch for phones. Well, at least first global market launch, as that’s the first market the phones arrived at outside of China. Both devices are currently available to pre-order in Malaysia, ahead of their debut elsewhere. We’re guessing that the two phones will make their way to a number of European countries later this month.
The Huawei P50 Pocket is the company’s first clamshell foldable smartphone
Both of those smartphones are quite powerful. The Huawei P50 Pocket is the company’s first foldable clamshell smartphone. The Huawei P50 Pro, on the other hand, is a “regular” smartphone, but the most powerful one Huawei released thus far. The Huawei P50 Pocket and P50 Pro both come with the Snapdragon 888 SoC. Do note that they support 4G connectivity, not 5G, thanks to the US ban. That won’t be a major loss for most people, though. They both include OLED displays, the P50 Pro one, while the P50 Pocket has two OLED panels. They’re both made out of metal and glass, though they’re considerably different in terms of the design, of course. The Huawei P50 Pocket actually comes with a gapless design, and it does look stunning in images. Both phones support fast charging, while the P50 Pro even supports 50W wireless charging. Compelling camera setups are also included, though the cameras are not the same. You can read more about the Huawei P50 Pocket and P50 Pro specs by clicking the provided links.
