Hell in a Cell is taking place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. Just outside of Chicago. WWE doesn’t usually go to the city of Chicago and instead goes to Rosemont since the Allstate Arena is larger. That means more ticket sales and it can actually hold its massive set. Surprisingly, only two titles are currently set to be defended at this event. That’s the WWE Raw Women’s title and the WWE United States Title. The other matches are all non-title matches. Here’s how you’ll be able to watch the Hell in a Cell premium live event on June 5, 2022.
WWE Hell in a Cell Main Event Preview
While it’s odd to call a non-title match a main event, that’s definitely what it looks like is happening this time around. As Roman Reigns does not have a match on the card, and he holds both the WWE Universal and WWE Title right now. The Uso’s are also not competing, who hold the WWE Raw and Smackdown Tag Team titles. This rivalry between Rhodes and Rollins has been ongoing since Rhodes returned at Wrestlemania in Dallas in April. Rhodes, who was part of the WWE until 2016 when he left and joined the independent scene before joining AEW when it launched in 2019. He returned at Wrestlemania to face Seth Rollins. Now, its Rhodes vs Rollins III, and it’s bound to be an incredible match. Then there’s the Raw Women’s title match, between champion Bianca Belair, and challengers Becky Lynch and Asuka. Lynch and Asuka have some history, with Lynch having handing Asuka her title in 2020 so she could go on maternity leave. Of course Lynch came back at Summerslam last year and beat Belair for the Smackdown title in just 12 seconds. So this is bound to be an incredible triple threat, and it would not be surprising to see it main event actually.

What time does WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 start?
Hell in a Cell will start officially at 8PM EDT on Sunday, June 5. There will be a pre-show that starts an hour earlier at 7PM EDT. The pre-show typically talks about the matches, and there are sometimes some backstage interviews to help further some storylines before the show starts. Hell in a Cell is not one of the bigger premium live events from WWE, so expect it to end by 11PM. That’s good news since most of us have to work on Monday, but still want to watch Hell in a Cell. Of course, there could be some surprises and it could run a bit longer, but the card isn’t very long this time around.
Who’s on the card?
The card for WWE Hell in a Cell 2022 is actually fairly short. There’s only six matches on the card this time around, however there is only one match that will take place inside Hell in a Cell, the theme for this premium live event. And very few titles are being defended, in fact only the Raw Women’s championship and the United States championship. No others are planned to be defended at this event. As of June 2, 2022, this is the card for Hell in a Cell.

As always, the card is subject to change due to injuries, time slots, etc. And where this is being written before the final Smackdown before the event, there could be changes to the card, including an additional match or two being added. We’ll be sure to update this post accordingly so you have the most up-to-date information.
