There’s also Ubisoft+ Classic. A partner service from Ubisoft that will be attached to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium tier plans. As far as gaming subscriptions go, Ubisoft+ is a lot like EA Play and EA Play Pro. Where you pay a monthly fee and get access to a huge catalog of Ubisoft games to play. Including day 1 releases and a healthy mix of both more recent and older titles. If you’re curious about Ubisoft+ and want to check it out for yourself, here’s how to sign up for the service.
Why you should sign up for Ubisoft+
Ubisoft+ has a lot to offer. A large collection of games from Ubisoft is of course the main selling point. And if you’re a Ubisoft fan, this is the biggest reason to consider Ubisoft+. With it, you can enjoy all the Ubisoft games you want without having to buy them. There’s more than just games though. You also get rewards the longer you’re signed up. And those rewards turn into in-game content and items that can be used in the games you’re playing. The service also includes premium editions of games, and season passes so you basically want for nothing when it comes to downloadable content for those titles. What’s not to like?
How to sign up for Ubisoft+
Head to the Ubisoft+ website
To sign up for Ubisoft+, you’ll need to head to the website from your mobile or PC browser.
View the available plans
Before actually starting your subscription, we’d suggest taking a brief look at the available plans for the service. Right now there are two to choose from. Ubisoft+ PC and Ubisoft+ multi-platform access. For now, you can choose from PC which is $14.99, or the multi-platform access which is $17.99. The benefits of the multi-platform access includes cross-progression for a handful of games including The Division 2, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Immortals Fenyx Rising, and Watch Dogs: Legion.
Click or tap the Subscribe Now button
Once you’ve decided on a plan, click the big blue button that says Subscribe Now. This will take you to a new page where you’ll select the plan you want. Click or tap on that plan to highlight it and then click or tap the button below the plans that says Choose This Plan.
Create an account or sign in
Next, you’ll need to either sign in with your Ubisoft Connect account or create one if you don’t have one already. Though if you play Ubisoft games, you probably already have an account created. If you aren’t sure what the login credentials are, you can easily say forgot password or you can create a new account and start fresh.
Enter your billing information
Once you’ve logged in or created a new account, you’ll need to enter your billing information. After all that’s done, simply review your order and then agree to the terms and conditions and subscribe. And that’s basically it for the initial process. There are a couple of other things you’ll want to do though.
Make sure to install the proper apps
To access your games, you’ll need to have the apps installed on your chosen platform. For PC, make sure to install the Ubisoft Connect app. This is where you’ll find all the Ubisoft+ games that you can install on your PC to play. In the Ubisoft Connect app, there will be a tab for Ubisoft+, and you simply click on that to bring up the entire catalog of 100+ games. You can then click on the install button for the games you want, and even filter game choices by franchise or genre if it makes finding one easier.
Don’t forget to claim rewards
One last helpful tip I’d like to throw out is don’t forget to claim your rewards. These will only stay available for so long before Ubisoft cycles them out for new ones. And once they’re gone, you can’t get them back. So it’s a good idea to check on the rewards at least once a month to see what’s there. You will start gaining rewards once you’re subscribed for one month. This is the Bronze Tier. You’ll get more rewards at the Silver Tier which is two months, then again at four months with the Gold Tier, and seven months with the Platinum Tier.
