How to record on the YouTube TV Mobile App
Open up your YouTube TV app on your Android or iOS device. Now tap on the magnifying glass and find the show that you’d like to record on YouTube TV.
Once you’ve found what you’re looking for, you’ll see a plus sign next to the title. Tap on that + sign. This will add the TV show, movie or sports team (or even the league) to your library. And it will now record it every time it airs on TV. That’s really all there is to it. If you see others that you want to add, just follow the steps above, or tap on the three dots icon from the “Home” screen and tap on “Add to Library”.
How to record on YouTube TV on your streaming device
Setting up recording on your TV through the YouTube TV app is pretty similar. Firstly, open up the YouTube TV app. Next, find the title that you want to record and click on that.
Now, tap on the + sign. This will add it to your library. And that’s it. You can continue doing this for everything that you want to add to your library.
How to record while watching a show or movie live
If you found out a movie you wanted to record is now on live, you can still record it. However, it will only record from this point forward. But the next time it airs, it’ll record the entire thing.
