Before you cancel your Audible Subscription

There’s a few things we need to address before you go about cancelling your Audible subscription. Firstly, you will not lose the access to the audiobooks that you have purchased, once you cancel. You will still be able to access them through the Audible app and website. These include those audiobooks you’ve bought and used with Audible’s monthly credits. Secondly, any unused credits when you cancel, will be removed. So it’s a good idea to use those before you cancel your subscription. Since you’ve already paid for the credits, you might as well use them. Finally, you can also return audiobooks and get a refund. But this won’t work with every audiobook. This is one of the advantages that Audible members have. Now you can proceed with canceling your Audible subscription.

How To Cancel Your Audible Subscription

To cancel your Audible subscription, you’ll need to head to its website. Which you can click here and do so. Now, you’ll need to sign into your account. Note: Unfortunately, you cannot cancel your subscription from the mobile app or website. So you’ll need to make sure you are doing it from a computer or force the desktop version of the site on your phone. Next, tap on your name in the upper-right hand corner. In the drop-down, find “Account Details” and click on that. Now navigate to the bottom of the page and click on “Cancel Membership”. It’ll then take you to a page to confirm you want to cancel. It’ll tell you that you’ll lose your credits. Tap on “No Thanks, continue cancelling”. Finally, you’ll be asked to sign in again, and you’ll see a message that says “Your Membership has Been Cancelled”. And you’re finally finished cancelling your account. There’s quite a few steps involved in cancelling your account, but it’s not too hard to do. Obviously, Audible doesn’t want to see you go, but hey, it’s not for everyone.
