The support page for the game lists a ton of changes. Including new content available in GTA Online. Those venturing around Los Santos in the online mode will now have access to new story missions, freemode missions, and a new business that they can manage. There’s also new 8 new vehicles, the Acid Lab, and a new social space called The Freakshop. If you’re most excited about the visual updates, then you’re in for a treat. The ray-traced reflections provide a pretty significant boost to the visual experience.

GTA V ray-tracing for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S really amp up the visuals

If you want a good display of what ray-tracing is really doing for the game, watch the video above. While it doesn’t incorporate the ray-traced reflections for the Xbox, they shouldn’t be much different from the PS5. With ray-tracing on, you’ll get enhanced reflections of your character in windows and highly reflective surfaces like vehicles with a chrome paint job. Water also looks more natural. It’s a crazy display of how much of an impact something like ray-tracing can have on a game this old. Breathing new life into it like it just came out a couple of years ago. For the GTA V diehards, this is definitely an update you’ll want to install and take advantage of. In addition to the ray-traced reflections, there’s quite a lengthy list of improvements. The economy has been updated to reward players with triple the amount of money on Smuggler’s Run Sell missions, for example.
