The Google Pixel 7 series devices appeared on REL certification
The Google Pixel 7 will have GWML3 and GVU6C model numbers. The Pixel 7 Pro, on the flip side, will arrive with GE2AE and GP4BC model numbers. Unfortunately, that’s all the information these listings shared. That being said, the Pixel 7 and 7 Pro were shown by Google back in May. Google showed off the two phones during Google I/O, but it did not share a lot of info about them. It simply showed us some renders of the two devices. Google also confirmed that both phones will ship with the next-gen Tensor chip. The company did not share any specifics regarding that processor, though. The Pixel 7 is expected to feature a 6.3-inch display, while the ‘Pro’ model will likely include a 6.7-inch panel. The Pixel 7 will be slightly smaller than its predecessor, and we’re hoping it will include a 120Hz display this time around.
Android 13 will come pre-installed on both phones
Android 13 will, of course, come pre-installed on both smartphones, while Google will almost certainly use the same main camera on the two phones. A 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN1 camera will be in use. Both phones will ship with a camera strip on the back, but it will look less like a visor this time around. Why? Well, the vast majority of that camera strip will be covered by metal, not glass. That will be the main differentiating point between the Pixel 6 and 7 series devices. Both of these devices are expected to launch in early October, but Google did not confirm the exact date just yet.
