The Pixel 7 & 7 Pro now have access to Paranoid Android Topaz
Many of you have heard of Paranoid Android, especially if you tinker with your devices. This is one of the most popular custom ROMs around these days. Android 13 images for devices from Nothing, OnePlus, and POCO, and others are already available. The Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro are now joining the fold. The XDA forums senior member, sirhc, is maintaining both beta builds for the devices. These images are derived from the Code Linaro Android base, and yes, Google Mobile Services are included. The Pixel 7 series is now joining the Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro, which are a step ahead in terms of Paranoid Android builds. The Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro are currently in the second phase.
You can now grab those beta builds, if you want
If you want to download Paranoid Android Topaz beta for the Pixel 7 or Pixel 7 Pro, click here. Do note that this is a custom ROM, though, so you need to know what you’re doing, as you will replace Google’s build of Android. If you’re not sure, it’s better to stay away from the whole affair, or get properly informed. For the vast majority of people, this change won’t make much sense. The Pixel experience is great on both the Pixel 7 and Pixel 7 Pro, so there’s really no reason to change that. There are always those of you who want to tinker with your phones, of course. Those of you who want that extra layer of customization, and whatnot, which is why ROMs like these exist. Paranoid Android Topaz is definitely meant for you.
