The Pixel 6 series may be more affordable than we thought
M. Brandon Lee from This Is Tech Today published some screenshots which seem to show the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro prices in the Target inventory system in the US. This is the same source that brought us various other Pixel 6 leaks. That being said, the Pixel 6 is said to cost $599, while the Pixel 6 Pro may cost $898. As the source said, Google seems to be subsidizing these two phones like crazy to reach such prices. If these price tags end up being accurate, that will be great for consumers. It would also indicate that Google really wants these two handsets to sell. This would certainly make them quite appealing. Google launched a big marketing push for the two phones a while back. The company is expected to put that into a higher gear once the two phones become official. We’re expecting Google to do something similar in other countries as well, where the two phones will be available.
A lot of details surfaced already
A lot of details regarding the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro surfaced already. Google itself confirmed the design via official renders, while the company also confirmed that the Google Tensor will fuel both devices. That is Google’s very first mobile processor, by the way. Both phones will come with a new main camera sensor, after quite a few years. Google has been using the same main camera sensor since the Pixel 2. Expectations are high. The Pixel 6 Pro will have a curved display, while the Pixel 6 will include a flat one. Both phones will be quite large, and they will offer a somewhat similar design. You can read more about them in our Pixel 6 and 6 Pro previews.
