According to the information obtained by Mishaal Rahman from Google Japan’s support page, the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro will receive an update on December 13. This update tends to fix some annoying bugs and add new features to the phone. Google has previously announced the features that will come with the Pixel 6 series with the update. One of those new features is ultra-wideband (UWB) functionality. Moreover, digital car keys are another feature that will allow Pixel 6 owners to unlock some recent BMW models. Ghost dialing was one of the problems that users reported. Google Assistant caused the problem. However, in the new update, Google will fix the issue.
The bugs on the Pixel 6 series became serious trouble for Google as every week, users reported about a new bug found on their phones. From fingerprint reader instability to microphone issues, screen flicker, and call connectivity problems. Users also reported the Wi-Fi disconnecting glitch. However, these issues will all be fixed through the new update.
Google set to release December update for the Pixel 6 series

They both came with a new design, an impressive camera, and many cool features. However, they were badly affected by software bugs and made Google work on updates to fix the issues.
