The Galaxy Z Fold 4 is said to be lighter than its predecessor

That makes sense, as Ice Universe hinted yesterday that the hinge of the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be thinner than the one on the Galaxy Z Fold 3. That also goes hand-in-hand with previous Galaxy Z Fold 4 rumors. Samsung will definitely be making some changes in the hinge department.
Its display width will be “almost the same” as that on the iPhone 13 Mini
That’s not all, though. Ice Universe also said that the width of the external Galaxy Z Fold 4 display will be almost the same as that of the iPhone 13 Mini. The iPhone 13 Mini is 64.2mm wide, but that includes its bezels. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 is 67.1mm wide with bezels, and its hinge. Once again, the Galaxy Z Fold 4’s hinge will be thinner. Is it possible the Galaxy Z Fold 4 will be narrower despite a wider display aspect ratio? Can a thinner hinge make up for it? Well, our guess is that the width will be comparable, but we’ll see.
