The tweet in question here contains three images with the caption, “we have a secret to tell you”. It is accompanied by the hashtag #SamsungUnpacked, which suggests that the company is referring to its upcoming foldables. The first image contains some randomly arranged letters, numbers, and symbols in shades of purple. The second image features 30 colored circles — each of different color. The last one contains six more colored circles. It’s unclear what Samsung is trying to tell via this cryptic tweet. However, as SamMobile speculates, the second image may be a hint at the color options for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Bespoke Edition. If true, we are looking at 900 possible color combinations for the back panels. With the two frame colors, the number of possible combinations goes up to 1,024. Of course, this is just speculation based on that tweet from Samsung. But if the company wants, it can surely pull it off. The Korean firm last year offered the Galaxy Z Flip 3 Bespoke Edition in 49 unique color combinations and it was a hit. There have been reports that it is looking to expand the colorways for the 2022 model. Whether we will get 1,024 of them, or 900, time will tell. The Galaxy Z Flip 4 launches on August 10, alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 4. Only the former comes in the Bespoke Edition, though.
The standard Galaxy Z Flip 4 may also get numerous color options
Samsung’s Bespoke Edition products are all about customizations. The company lets buyers customize the products with unique color combinations. Buyers can even ask the firm to print custom images on the doors of Bespoke refrigerators. While phones don’t go to that extent, the Korean behemoth is seemingly looking to significantly expand the possible combinations for the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Bespoke Edition. But it’s not just the Bespoke variant that will get more colors. Rumors are that the standard Galaxy Z Flip 4 will also arrive in nine colorways. We saw four of them yesterday, thanks to leaked official press renders. With just three weeks to go for its launch, the upcoming clamshell foldable will likely appear in more leaks soon. We will keep you posted.
