That is not exactly surprising, as this tablet has been in the rumor mill for quite some time now. We’ve seen CAD-based renders of it, while some spec-related information surfaced as well. Samsung is expected to announce it soon.
The Galaxy Tab A8 (2021) gets one step closer to launch, Bluetooth 5.0 confirmed
The device appeared under the SM-X205 model number, and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity was confirmed. That’s pretty much all the information that this listing revealed. Now, as already mentioned, some of its specs already surfaced. This tablet is expected to feature a 10.4-inch TFT display with fullHD+ (1920 x 1200) resolution. It’s also expected to utilize the Unisoc T618 SoC. It will arrive in both 3GB and 4GB RAM variants, with different storage builds. All that will depend on the market in which it launches, some markets will have more options, others less. You will be able to expand its storage via a microSD card, though. The device is said to use a 7,040mAh battery, and supports 15W charging. A single 8-megapixel camera will sit on its back, while a 5-megapixel snapper will be included on the front.
Both WiFi and LTE models are expected to arrive
Both WiFi and LTE models are expected, though that hasn’t been confirmed just yet. We’ll have to wait and see what Samsung is planning in that regard. This tablet’s bezels won’t exactly be super thin, but that is to be expected. This is not a high-end tablet, not even close to it, plus you do need some bezel for grip purposes. The device will have a boxy design as well. Gray, Silver, and Gold colors are expected to arrive. Those will likely be market-dependent as well. We don’t have an exact launch date for this device, but it’s expected to arrive soon. Before the end of the year for sure.
