The Galaxy S22 Ultra my offer 45W charging despite China’s 3C authority info
That information came from 3C authority, though it’s not necessarily always accurate. A well-known tipster, Ice Universe, claims that the Galaxy S22 Ultra will offer 45W charging. He’s referring to wired charging, of course. In addition to that, the tipster also mentioned that the device will include a 5,000mAh battery. In case you’re wondering how fast will that charging actually be, in practice, it will be able to charge up that battery up to 70-percent in only 35 minutes. From that point on, charging will be a bit slower, but still, it should be able to reach the full charge fairly quickly overall. We’re not sure what will the situation be like with the Galaxy S22 and S22+. It’s possible that both of those phones will be limited to 25W charging. One thing is for sure, though, all three phones will ship without a charger. So, you’ll need to acquire one by yourself, if you don’t have one at home, of course.
Wireless charging will also be supported
What about wireless charging, though? Well, all three phones will support it, but we don’t know how fast will it be. If I had to guess, I’d say it will be limited to 15W, or something of the sort. We haven’t seen any indication Samsung will boost the wireless charging speed, at least not until now. All three of these smartphones are expected to arrive in early 2022. They will launch in either January, or February, it all depends. We’ve seen rumors for both timeframes, it all depends on whether the Galaxy S21 FE will launch or not. The latest rumors suggest that the Galaxy S21 FE will arrive in January, and the Galaxy S22 series in February. Samsung hasn’t confirmed anything just yet, so we’ll just have to wait and see.
