UScellular Galaxy S21 handsets are now getting Android 12

If you take a look at the images below, you’ll see that UScellular moved all three Galaxy S21 handsets to Android 12. The devices in question are the Galaxy S21, S21+, and S21 Ultra, of course. As most of you know, Samsung recently started rolling out Android 12 to unlocked Galaxy S21 handsets. It seems like the update is now reaching carrier variants as well. Considering that One UI 4 is built on top of Android 12, quite a few Android 12 features are included in the mix. Privacy Dashboard, for example, is a part of the package, along with a number of other features. Samsung, of course, included a ton of its features and customization options. Some that you’re used to from previous versions, and some new ones that landed. You can, for example, customize the share menu now, to an extent.

Samsung is offering quite a few theming options in One UI 4

Samsung is offering a ton of theming options in One UI 4 as well. You can actually change the UI quite a bit, and color-code it to your preference, pretty much. The UI is somewhat close to Material You in that regard, but it’s different. Some people will actually prefer that. The company is doing its best to bring One UI 4 with Android 12 to more of its devices. The Galaxy Z Fold 3, Z Flip 3, Note 20, and S20 are progressing quite nicely. The Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Z Flip 3 seem to be next in line to get the update, though. If you do own a Galaxy S21, S21+, or S21 Ultra from UScellular, the update should be on the way to your phone soon. You can wait for it to pop up, or you can check manually if it’s available. You’ll need to navigate to “Settings”, and you can manually check from there.
